St. Charles Hospital's Department of Radiology provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, and interventional (minimally invasive radiology) services. Imaging techniques available include state-of-the-art computed radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound and mammography.
Inpatient Services The Inpatient Radiology Department is a 24-hour imaging service that uses state-of-the-art digital radiography equipment to generate images of tissues, organs, bones and vessels in the body to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Diagnostic procedures are also performed at the patient's bedside using mobile equipment in the operating room as well as in the Emergency Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Outpatient Services Radiology provides complete outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. Comprehensive radiography (x-ray) is available for skeletal, abdominal, chest, genitourinary (GU) and gastrointestinal (GI) diagnostic testing. CT scan of the brain and body and abdominal and musculoskeletal Ultrasound are available. A physician order is required for all procedures.

Outpatient Hours of Operation: The Radiology Department is open 7 days a week. For your convenience early morning and evening appointments are available.
