The Department of Anesthesiology at St. Charles Hospital specializes in the practice of both general and regional anesthesia for orthopedics.

When under general anesthesia a patient is asleep while regional anesthesia renders a certain part of a patients' body insensate (numb) to surgery. Our anesthesiologists utilize the most advanced techniques to provide you with the most comfortable surgical experience possible. Included in this team are physicians sub-specializing in orthopedic anesthesiology and post-op pain management techniques.
